Founder Alex Udin started making sails at the age of 16. Passionate about sailing and windsurfing, he started working in R&D lofts in Maui back in 2001 and founded his sailmaking company in 2003, designing high performance sails for famous boatyards and professional sailors like Franck Cammas and François Gabart.
Phantom has developed extensive experience with new design technologies, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics and Fluid Structure Interaction Analysis. We work closely with some of the best experts in the yachting industry to ensure our designs are cutting-edge and innovative.
As pioneers of foiling beach catamarans, we've been designing, testing, and producing foiling cats since 2012. Our ambition is to continue leading the way in racing catamaran design while making foiling more accessible to all.
Expanding our product range to include windsurfing, wingfoiling, surf foiling, and SUP foiling was a natural progression. These sports are all connected by the sea, wind, speed, and freedom that foiling offers.
